Robert Tirollo has over 16 years law enforcement experience and currently trains law enforcement officers and civilians nationwide. Rob specializes in Solo Engagement Tactics, Responding to Violent Critical Incidents, Counter-ambush Tactics, Edged Weapons, and various forms of armed and unarmed combat. Rob is a CrossFit Coach and has over 20 years of martial arts experience. He captured the title of Triple-Crown National Martial Arts Champion for two consecutive years, National Weapons Champion, and is in the National Sport Karate Hall of Fame. He has been a member of the National Tactical Officers Association (NTOA), the International Law Enforcement Educators and Trainers Association (ILEETA), and the International Association of Law Enforcement Firearms Instructors (IALEFI), as well as a guest instructor.
Rob has trained thousands of people nationwide, including SWAT, Federal Agents, Military Personnel, School Districts, SRO’s, Security Officers, Large Corporations, and Small businesses.
His background in law enforcement includes Patrol, Criminal Investigations, Training Officer, Tactical Team Leader/Trainer, and School Resource Officer. He has an Associate’s Degree in Criminal Justice and a Bachelor’s Degree in Public Safety Administration. Rob was a criminal justice academy instructor for 6 years and holds several instructor certifications including: Firearms, Defensive Tactics, Edged Weapons, Reality Based Training, Citizen Response to an Active Shooter, Solo Response Tactics for Law Enforcement, Vehicle Operations, Ground Defense, ALS Flash Bang/Stun Munitions, baton, First Aid, Quick Clot, & Response to Lethal Threats. Rob is also skilled at Tactical Medicine for Shootings, Special Tactical Problems, One on One Control Tactics, Weapon Control Tactics, CQC Cuffing and Striking, Combat Cover & Concealment, Advanced Handgun Operator, Tactical Low Light Shooting, Flying Armed Certification, Reaction Time Motion Studies, Edged Weapon Defense, Advanced Tactical Patrol Rifle, Tactical Shotgun, Advanced Defensive Tactics, Planning & Training for School Violence, LE Response to Suicide Bombers, LE Response to CBRNE Incidents, Detecting Criminal Behavior, Improvised Explosive Threat, FBI, and Investigations
